The Scotch-Brite™ EXL deburring wheel features a hard, dense consistency that effectively deburrs, finishes, and polishes a wide range of materials including metals, composites, and glass, resulting in a smooth, clean surface. This wheel is particularly suitable for deburring stamped or laser cut parts and offers finishing capabilities after belt sanding. It is designed to minimize the need for additional cleanup and preparation with its convolute construction, which ensures clean and uniform wear, allowing for a professional finish while reducing operator fatigue. The Scotch-Brite material operates at lower temperatures, providing uniform wear and continuously exposing fresh abrasives, making it ideal for heat-sensitive substrates. The wheel is offered with either silicon carbide or aluminum oxide abrasive minerals; silicon carbide is known for its sharpness and suitability for low-pressure applications like paint preparation, while aluminum oxide delivers a high cut-rate and extended lifespan.
