The Omni Metalcraft Lineshaft 5' Slave Conveyor LSSS1.9X16-18-3-5 features a 1.9" diameter design with 18" between frames, constructed with 16-gauge galvanized rollers positioned on 3" centers. This lineshaft driven live roller conveyor operates through a unique mechanism where rollers are independently driven by a urethane belt connected to a common drive shaft. The design allows for the effective handling of light loads weighing up to 15 lbs per roller, at speeds ranging from 25 to 120 feet per minute, making it ideal for flat-bottomed, evenly distributed loads commonly found in distribution and warehousing, food packaging, and parcel handling. The conveyor measures 5 feet in length and requires a support for a 36" top of roller. It is important to note that this unit is a slave model and must be coupled with a drive section, which is sold separately, and is compatible only with other Omni Metalcraft lineshaft conveyors. Additionally, a single drive section can support varying maximum run lengths dependent on motor capacity: ½ HP motor supports up to 40 feet, ¾ HP motor supports up to 60 feet, and 1 HP motor supports up to 80 feet. Ideal operational conditions for this conveyor include clean, dry, and oil-free environments to maximize its performance.
