Product Details
The wave spring, made of carbon steel, features an outer diameter of 1.08 inches, an inner diameter of 0.839 inches, and a thickness of 0.0115 inches, with a height of 0.073 inches. It is packaged in a quantity of 25 and is manufactured in the USA. These wave springs are specifically designed to reduce axial end play, making them ideal for ball bearing applications where light to medium loads are present and limited deflection is required or available. The spring rate for wave springs is nearly linear between 20% and 80% of the available deflection, although deflection should ideally not exceed 80%. Compared to curved springs, wave springs experience less expansion during loading, and the number of waves corresponds to the number of contact points on one side of the spring. The high carbon steel components are made from commercial 1074-1095 material and are certified to ASTM-A684.
