The Wave Spring is made from 302 stainless steel, featuring an outer diameter of 0.242 inches, an inner diameter of 0.194 inches, and a thickness of 0.0057 inches, with a height of 0.03 inches. This kit includes 25 pieces of wave springs, which can be utilized to reduce axial end play, particularly in ball bearing applications. The wave springs are designed for light to medium loads in situations where limited deflection is either required or available, with ideal deflection not exceeding 80%. The spring rate for these wave springs remains nearly linear between 20% and 80% of the available deflection, and they expand less during loading compared to curved springs. Each wave corresponds to a contact point on one side of the spring. The stainless steel components are certified to AMS 5519, ASTM-A666, AMS 5906 (chemical only), or ASTM A 240-08A (chemical only), ensuring compliance with industry standards.
