Product Details
The Wave Spring is made of 302 stainless steel with an outer diameter of 0.855 inches, an inner diameter of 0.65 inches, and a thickness of 0.01 inches, featuring a height of 0.06 inches, and is produced in the USA, with a package containing 25 pieces. These wave springs are specifically designed to reduce axial end play, especially in ball bearing applications, and can handle light to medium loads while being suitable for scenarios with limited deflection. The spring rate for wave springs remains nearly linear between 20% and 80% of available deflection, with deflection ideally not exceeding 80%. Unlike curved springs, wave springs exhibit less expansion during loading, and the number of waves corresponds to the number of contact points on one side of the spring. The stainless steel components comply with the 300 series stainless steel specifications and are certified to AMS 5519, ASTM-A666, AMS 5906 (chemical only), or ASTM A 240-08A (chemical only).
