Product Details
The Wave Spring is composed of 302 stainless steel with an outer diameter of 0.618 inches, an inner diameter of 0.44 inches, a thickness of 0.008 inches, and a height of 0.04 inches, packaged in quantities of 25. These wave springs are particularly effective in reducing axial end play in ball bearing applications, providing support for light to medium loads while being ideal for environments where limited deflection is both required and permissible. The springs exhibit a nearly linear spring rate between 20% and 80% of their available deflection, although deflection should ideally not exceed 80%. Notably, wave springs tend to expand less under loading compared to their curved counterparts. The design features a specific number of waves that correspond to the number of contact points on one side of the spring. The stainless steel components adhere to multiple certifications, including AMS 5519, ASTM-A666, AMS 5906 (chemical only), and ASTM A 240-08A (chemical only).
