The Little Giant® HyperLite™ extension ladder is the lightest Type IA and IAA fiberglass extension ladder in the world, engineered to minimize injuries associated with traditional heavy ladders. This innovative ladder features a lightweight, patent-pending design that reduces the risk of injuries such as torn rotator cuffs, herniated disks, and ligament tears, while its nonconductive fiberglass construction enhances safety when working around electricity. Weighing up to 40 percent less than conventional fiberglass extension ladders without compromising strength or stability, the HyperLite™ boasts a rigidity that is approximately 20 percent higher than ordinary models. Key features include a roof line indicator for safe setup, a side-to-side level bubble, wide slip-resistant rungs for comfort, and solid-riveted plate rung construction for durability. The side-mounted dual-pulley system decreases the effort needed to raise the fly section by 45 percent, eliminating trip hazards associated with traditional center-pulley systems. Additionally, this ladder incorporates a braided rope that is larger, softer, and more durable; interlocking side rails with internal guides; and spring-assisted heavy-duty extruded aluminum rung locks. The ladder feet are designed with spikes for enhanced stability during use.
