The Little Giant 28' HyperLite extension ladder, model 17928, has a 375 lb. capacity and is classified as a Type IAA fiberglass extension ladder. This ladder features a lightweight, patent-pending design that helps to prevent common injuries associated with traditional extension ladders, such as torn rotator cuffs and herniated disks. Constructed from nonconductive fiberglass, it provides additional safety when working near electricity. The HyperLite weighs up to 40 percent less than ordinary fiberglass extension ladders while remaining strong and stable, and it is approximately 20 percent more rigid than standard extension ladders. It includes a roof line indicator for quick setup, as well as side-to-side and front-to-back angle level bubbles to ensure a safe configuration. The ladder offers wide, flat, slip-resistant rungs for comfort and reduced foot fatigue, and features solid-riveted plate rung construction for enhanced durability and ease of replacement. Additionally, a side-mounted, dual-pulley system reduces the effort needed to raise the fly section by 45 percent and eliminates the trip hazard associated with traditional center-pulley rope systems. It also includes a larger, softer, and more durable braided rope, along with interlocking side rails designed with internal rail guides for smooth operation without protruding external guides.
