The Little Giant® HyperLite™ extension ladder is the lightest type IA and IAA fiberglass extension ladder available, designed to mitigate the common injuries associated with traditional heavy extension ladders. This lightweight, patent-pending design facilitates safe loading and unloading, significantly reducing the risk of injuries such as torn rotator cuffs, herniated disks, and knee ligament tears. Constructed from nonconductive fiberglass, it provides safety when working near electrical sources. Weighing up to 40 percent less than conventional fiberglass ladders without compromising strength or stability, the HyperLite is approximately 20 percent more rigid than its counterparts. It features a roof line indicator for easy setup, side-to-side and front-to-back angle level bubbles for enhanced safety, and wide, flat, slip-resistant rungs that offer comfort and lower foot fatigue. The ladder's solid-riveted plate rung construction ensures enhanced durability and ease of replacement. Additionally, a side-mounted dual-pulley system reduces the effort needed to raise the fly section by 45 percent, while a larger and softer braided rope improves usability. Interlocking side rails with internal guides assist in smooth operation, and spring-assisted heavy-duty extruded aluminum rung locks provide secure functionality.
