The Little Giant® HyperLite™ extension ladder is the lightest Type IA and IAA fiberglass extension ladder in the world, designed to mitigate common injuries associated with traditional extension ladders. This ladder features a lightweight patent-pending design that helps prevent injuries like torn rotator cuffs, herniated disks, ankle sprains, and knee ligament tears. Constructed from nonconductive fiberglass, it provides added safety when working around electricity and weighs up to 40 percent less than ordinary fiberglass extension ladders while maintaining strength and stability. It is approximately 20 percent more rigid than standard extension ladders. Key features include a roof line indicator for quick and safe setup, convenient side-to-side and front-to-back angle level bubbles to ensure proper placement, as well as wide, flat, slip-resistant rungs that enhance comfort and reduce foot fatigue. The solid-riveted plate rung construction increases durability and simplifies replacements. The ladder also incorporates a side-mounted, dual-pulley system that decreases the effort needed to raise the fly section by 45 percent and eliminates the trip hazard associated with traditional center-pulley systems. Additionally, it utilizes a larger, softer, and more durable braided rope, along with interlocking side rails equipped with internal rail guides for smooth operation, ensuring there are no protruding external guides while ascending or descending. The spring-assisted heavy-duty extruded aluminum rung locks facilitate smooth and secure operation.
