The Babcock Davis BIWM2424 is a 24" x 24" fire-rated insulated access door designed for drywall installations with a bead flange and mortise lock preparation. It features UL and Warnock-Hersey listings suitable for both gypsum wall and gypsum ceiling applications. The door is engineered with mineral wool fiber insulation, which helps to reduce heat transfer in the event of a fire. Its drywall bead face flange is designed to be concealed upon installation, providing a seamless appearance. This model comes with standard latching that includes mortise cylinder preparation.
