The Babcock Davis BITK2230 is a 22" x 30" general purpose fire-rated insulated access door featuring an exposed flange and a knurled knob. This access door has UL and Warnock-Hersey listings, making it suitable for both wall and ceiling applications. It is engineered with mineral wool fiber insulation, which helps reduce heat transfer during a fire. The door includes a 1" exposed face flange that allows for installation in most material substrates. The standard latching mechanism consists of a keyed lock paired with the knurled knob, ensuring secure access.
