The standard infrared lamp is designed with a height adjustable feature ranging from 35" to 58" and sits on a 10-5/8" stationary base, making it suitable for patients requiring supplemental heat treatments at home. This lamp includes a 12" flexible arm, a 3 conductor cord set, and a 250W ceramic heater equipped with a protective screen. The ceramic heaters are uniquely designed to change color from coral to gray when energized. It incorporates nickel-chromium resistance wire embedded within a ceramic casting to ensure uniform heat transmission with 96% thermal efficiency and low element surface temperature. The inner body of the heating element is filled with ceramic fiber insulation, contributing to energy conservation, maximizing efficiency, and minimizing heat build-up at the terminal area. The heat-up time for the lamp ranges from 3 to 9 minutes to achieve a maximum temperature of 90 degrees.
