The mobile lamp features variable control and is adjustable from 31" to 52", extending 15" over the bed, making it ideal for use in hospitals, clinics, and large practices. It includes 3 conductor cord sets with hospital-grade plugs, a control panel that incorporates an on/off indicator light, intensity control, and a 30-minute timer switch. The lamp is equipped with a 750W ceramic heating element that electromagnetically transmits extremely uniform heat to the patient, changing from coral to gray when energized, while producing no visible light. The nickel-chromium resistance wire embedded in a ceramic casting ensures uniform heat transmission with 96% thermal efficiency and a low element surface temperature. Additionally, the inner body of the element is filled with ceramic fiber insulation to conserve energy, maximize efficiency, and minimize heat build-up in the terminal area. The heat-up time ranges from 3 to 9 minutes to reach a maximum temperature of 90 degrees.
