The bariatric ADCUFF™ is specifically designed for use with most manual sphygmomanometers and addresses the challenges of measuring blood pressure in severely obese or bariatric patients. It accommodates limb circumferences from 44 to 66 cm, blending the limb range of a thigh cuff with the narrower width of a large adult cuff. Its unique, radically curved shape ensures a snug fit on conically shaped upper arms, while the exclusive ADCUFF™ nylon material features the Size Guide™ marking system for easy reference. The kit includes a custom-sized inflation bladder with one 50 cm and one 25 cm tube, which are not made from natural rubber latex, and an ADFLOW™ oversized bulb and valve (#872LN) with filter screen protection to facilitate faster inflation. Additionally, a Luer connector (#891F) is included with the inflation system (865 series), and it is compatible with most aneroid or mercurial blood pressure instruments (note that it is not suitable for NIBP unless using a manual mode, such as with the ADview 2 or e-SPHYG 2). This product comes with a three-year warranty and meets or exceeds ANSI/AAMI/ISO 81060-1 certifications.
