The Tripp Lite AVR750U is a 750VA line-interactive UPS designed to provide complete protection for PCs, workstations, and sensitive electronics within a compact, mountable housing. This UPS prevents data loss and system downtime by delivering battery-supported AC output during blackouts and automatic voltage regulation (AVR) during brownouts and overvoltages. It features 12 output receptacles, including 4 widely spaced outlets to accommodate large transformer blocks without blocking adjacent outlets. Of these, 6 outlets provide full battery support and surge suppression for computers, monitors, and critical components, while the remaining 6 outlets offer surge suppression only, suitable for printers and peripherals that do not require battery support. Additionally, single-line telephone suppression jacks protect equipment connected to a DSL or standard dial-up RJ-11 phone line. A USB port with an included cable and PowerAlert monitoring software facilitates safe unattended system shutdown during extended power outages. The UPS is equipped with an HID-compliant USB interface, allowing integration with built-in power management features for Windows and Mac OS X. Its audible alarm and front panel LEDs provide status information about line and battery power operation, and the unit has a power-handling ability of 750VA/450 watts, supporting entry-level PCs for up to 35 minutes during power failures.
