Tripp Lite's Internet900U standby UPS provides comprehensive protection for PCs, workstations, and sensitive electronics in an ultra-compact, mountable design. It prevents data loss and system downtime by delivering battery-supported AC output during brownouts and blackouts. The unit features 12 widely spaced output receptacles that can accommodate large transformer plugs without blocking adjacent outlets, with 6 outlets providing full battery support and surge suppression for essential devices, while 6 additional surge suppression-only outlets are suited for printers and other accessories that do not require battery support. It includes single-line telephone suppression jacks to protect directly connected modems, fax machines, and cordless phones via a standard dial-up or DSL line. A USB communications interface with PowerAlert monitoring software (available for web download) and cabling facilitates safe, unattended system shutdowns. The HID-compliant USB interface allows integration with built-in power management and auto-shutdown features for both Windows and Mac OS X systems.
