Tripp Lite's SMART1000LCD line-interactive digital UPS system provides reliable voltage regulation, surge suppression, and extended battery support for personal computers, network workstations, home entertainment systems, and media centers. The internal UPS circuits can support entry-level PCs for up to 60 minutes and individual VCR/DVR components for as long as 3 hours during power failures, effectively preventing data loss, viewing interruptions, lost recordings, and loss of component programming. This system features automatic voltage regulation (AVR) circuits that can regulate brownouts as low as 89 volts back to usable levels without utilizing battery power, all housed in an attractive black tower configuration. The UPS includes 4 battery-supported outlets and 4 additional surge suppression-only outlets for devices that do not require battery support. An integrated USB port allows for optional unattended system shutdown during extended power failures, and a USB cable is included. Additionally, PowerAlert software is available for free download from Tripp Lite, while the HID-compliant USB interface ensures full integration with built-in power management and auto shutdown features on both Windows and macOS systems. The UPS is also equipped with built-in single-line RJ-11 phone suppression jacks that protect modems, satellite receivers, or other peripherals with a standard dial-up/DSL phone connection, alongside a set of 2.2 GHz coaxial jacks for surge protection.
