Ideal for laboratory and industrial applications, the OHAUS® Scout features a slim, stackable design with a large backlit LCD display, ensuring superior overload protection and multiple weighing units. Designed for high performance, it offers fast stabilization time and high-resolution weighing results. The kit includes an AC adapter and supports operation with optional 4 AA batteries. Additionally, it provides various communication options such as RS232, USB host, USB device, Ethernet, or Bluetooth® (available as an accessory). The construction features an ABS housing, stainless steel pan, ABS draft shield (for 1mg models only), weigh below hook, transportation lock, manual calibration lock switch, security slot, and adjustable leveling feet with an illuminated up-front level indicator. Key design features include a stability indicator, mechanical and software overload/underload protection, low battery indicator, auto shut-off, auto tare, and a span calibration mass included for models with a capacity of up to 620g. The OHAUS® Scout supports multiple units of measurement, including carat, grain, gram, kilogram, newton, ounce, ounce troy, pennyweight, pound, pound:ounce, and custom dimensions.
