Ideal for laboratory and industrial applications, the OHAUS® Scout features a slim, stackable design with a large backlit LCD. It includes superior overload protection, multiple weighing units, and various application modes such as weighing, parts counting, percent weighing, check weighing, totalization, and display hold. The display is a liquid crystal display (LCD) with backlight, and the kit includes an AC adapter, while 4 AA batteries are not included. Communication options consist of RS232, USB host, USB device, Ethernet, or Bluetooth® (available as an accessory). The construction features an ABS housing, stainless steel pan, ABS draft shield (1mg models only), weigh below hook, transportation lock, manual calibration lock switch, security slot, and adjustable leveling feet, complemented by an illuminated up-front level indicator. Design features include a stability indicator, stackable design with an optional storage cover (excluding 1mg models), mechanical and software overload/underload protection, low battery indicator, auto shut-off, auto tare, and span calibration mass included on models up to 620g capacity. Units of measurement supported are carat, grain, gram, kilogram, newton, ounce, ounce troy, pennyweight, pound, pound:ounce, and custom.
