The ALTAIR® pump probe is a rugged sampling accessory designed for MSA gas detection instruments, capable of drawing samples from up to 50ft (15m) away with a standard sampling line. This device quickly converts diffusion instruments for use in remote sampling applications. It features visual inspection of the filter and quick change components to simplify maintenance, while its rugged unibody construction provides exceptional durability. The probe is equipped with a Li-ion battery that ensures a long run time of over 30 hours, even in cold weather. It includes quick change components, tough over-molded rubber armor that withstands multiple 10-ft drops onto concrete, and dust- and water-tight IP65 construction. Additionally, the probe is rechargeable, compatible with ALTAIR wall chargers and ALTAIR 4/4X/4XR desktop/vehicle chargers, and boasts an intrinsically-safe design.
