The AMT interchangeable coolant/oil pumps are dependable and economical replacement pumps designed for the circulation and spraying of coolants and cutting oils in both domestic and foreign-made machine tools such as Fuji, Mitsubishi, Toshiba, and Hitachi. These immersion-type pumps feature a seal-less design that eliminates the need for bearings, seals, or packing, making them particularly effective for pumping liquids containing fine contaminants. Suitable for use in grinders and applications with higher temperatures, the pumps are equipped with totally enclosed motors that have sealed, permanently lubricated bearings to protect against dirt, moisture, and soil. Key features include semi-open impellers capable of handling some solids and fine contaminants, cast iron construction, a stainless steel impeller, and a carbon steel shaft. The pumps are designed to operate efficiently with liquids down to 2 inches, making them ideal for abrasive materials.
