The AMT interchangeable coolant/oil pumps are designed as dependable, economical replacement pumps compatible with both domestic and foreign made machine tools, such as Fuji, Mitsubishi, Toshiba, and Hitachi. These pumps facilitate the circulation and spraying of coolants and cutting oils and must be mounted above the liquid level due to their suction-type design, featuring a maximum suction lift of 2 ft. Ideal for circulating coolant and handling liquids with foreign matter while spraying cutting oil in various machines, except grinders, the pumps are equipped with totally enclosed motors that have sealed, permanently lubricated bearings to protect against dirt, moisture, and soil. They incorporate semi-open impellers to effectively manage some solids and fine contaminants. Key specifications include cast iron construction, a stainless steel impeller, a carbon steel shaft, and a carbon/ceramic shaft seal, with the added advantage of being self-priming up to 2 feet, requiring installation above the liquid level.
