The kit includes a hood, collar, two nebulizers, a bitter tasting sensitivity solution, a bitter tasting fit test solution, and laminated user instructions. The FT-30 uses a test solution of denatonium benzoate to produce a very bitter taste and meets the performance criteria for fit testing respirators under the current OSHA standard for respirator protection, specifically 29 CFR 1910.134, Appendix A. This test kit and its accessories are designed to assist organizations in fulfilling OSHA fit testing requirements for respirators, and the products can be utilized to verify the face-to-respirator seal on any particulate respirator or gas/vapor respirator equipped with a particulate prefilter.
