The 3M™ particulate welding respirator, with faceseal, N95, is packaged in a box of 10 and designed to provide respiratory protection against certain non-oil particles in applications such as welding, soldering, and other operations involving metal fumes. This lightweight, disposable N95 respirator features cake-resistant filter media for longer life and is equipped with 3M's proprietary advanced electrostatically charged microfiber filter media for ease of breathing. The respirator includes a 3M™ Cool Flow™ exhalation valve that minimizes heat build-up, enhancing wearer comfort. Additional features consist of a comfortable foam faceseal, flame resistance per ASTM D2859, compatibility with various protective eyewear and hearing protection, an adjustable noseclip that reduces eyewear fogging while ensuring a better seal, and fully adjustable headstraps for a secure fit. Suggested applications for this respirator include welding, torch cutting, brazing, soldering, and metal pouring. The respirators are designed to help reduce exposures to certain airborne contaminants; however, users must read and understand the provided user instructions, and in the U.S., a written respiratory protection program must meet all OSHA 1910.134 requirements, including training, fit testing, and medical evaluation. In Canada, compliance with CSA standards Z94.4 is required.
