The Steel King® SK2000® pallet rack add-on unit measures 120"W x 48"D x 120"H and has a capacity of 6700 lbs. It features Steel King® SK2000® series boltless pallet rack uprights constructed from high-strength tubular steel framing, reinforced with built-in braces for added strength. The uprights and beams are finished with a powder coat, and the tear-drop connection design is compatible with most industrial storage rack systems currently in use. The closed tube upright design offers 250% more frontal impact strength and 68% greater side impact resistance than traditional open back columns, significantly enhancing safety in storage facilities and reducing the likelihood of bending or twisting. The uprights utilize a robust three rivet connection, outperforming the standard two rivet design, while 10 gauge welded base plates allow for secure floor anchoring. The high-strength steel beams have a minimum yield strength of 55,000 P.S.I. and are constructed from continuously welded structural tubing, ensuring durability while preventing moisture and debris accumulation. The 1-5/8"H step beams can accept optional decking (not included), and beam ends are equipped with a three rivet lock design featuring a safety lock for secure installation on uprights.
