The Steel King® SK2000® pallet rack add-on unit measures 120"W x 48"D x 96"H and has a weight capacity of 6700 lbs. This unit features high-strength tubular steel framing with built-in braces for enhanced durability, and both the uprights and beams are finished with a powder coat for added protection. Its tear-drop connection is compatible with most industrial storage rack systems currently in use, while the closed tube upright design provides 250% more frontal impact strength and 68% greater side impact resistance compared to open back columns, enhancing safety within the facility. The three rivet connection is superior to the typical two rivet found on most pallet rack uprights, and the 10 gauge welded base plates allow for effective floor anchoring. The beams, made from high-strength steel with a minimum yield strength of 55,000 P.S.I., are constructed from continuously welded structural tubing to prevent moisture and debris accumulation. The 1-5/8"H step beams accept optional decking (not included), and the beam ends are designed with a 3 rivet lock mechanism and safety lock to ensure secure installation on the uprights. All products are manufactured to high quality standards using US steel, resulting in greater strength and rigidity.
