The Steel King® SK2000® pallet rack add-on unit measures 108"W x 42"D x 144"H and has a load capacity of 5480 lbs. This unit features Steel King® SK2000® series boltless pallet rack uprights made from high strength tubular steel framing, complete with built-in braces for added strength. Both the uprights and beams are finished with a durable powder coat. The tear-drop connection allows interchangeability with most industrial storage rack systems in use today. Its closed tube upright design provides 250% more frontal impact strength and 68% greater side impact resistance compared to an open back column, enhancing product safety and reducing the likelihood of bending or twisting. The unit's three rivet connection is stronger than the typical two rivet design found on other pallet rack uprights. Additionally, it includes 10 gauge welded base plates for secure floor anchoring. The pallet rack beams are constructed from high-strength steel with a minimum tensile strength of 55,000 P.S.I., using continuously welded structural tubing that prevents trapping moisture or debris. The 1-5/8"H step beams accept optional decking (not included), and the beam ends are designed with a three rivet lock design and safety lock for secure installation on uprights.
