The Steel King® SK2000® pallet rack add-on unit, measuring 120"W x 36"D x 96"H and available in green and orange, has a capacity of 6700 lbs. This unit features uprights constructed from high strength tubular steel framing, with built-in braces that provide additional strength. The uprights and beams are coated with a durable powder finish, and the tear-drop connection design is compatible with most industrial storage rack systems currently in use. The closed tube upright design enhances safety by offering 250% more frontal impact strength and 68% greater side impact resistance compared to traditional open back columns, reducing the likelihood of bending or twisting. Additionally, the three rivet connection is designed to be stronger than the conventional two rivet connection found in many pallet rack uprights. The unit includes 10 gauge welded base plates that facilitate floor anchoring. The pallet rack beams are made from high-strength steel with a minimum of 55,000 P.S.I., and their construction includes continuously welded structural tubing to ensure durability while preventing moisture or debris accumulation. The 1-5/8"h step beams are designed to accept optional decking, which is not included. Beam ends are equipped with a 3 rivet lock design along with a safety lock, ensuring secure installation on the uprights. Steel King adheres to stringent quality standards and utilizes only US steel, resulting in enhanced overall strength and rigidity.
