The Steel King® SK2000® pallet rack add-on unit, measuring 108"W x 36"D x 96"H and available in green and orange, has a capacity of 5480 lbs. This boltless pallet rack features high strength tubular steel framing with built-in braces for added strength. Both the uprights and beams are finished with a durable powder coat. Its tear-drop connection design is compatible with most existing industrial storage rack systems. The closed tube upright design significantly enhances product safety by providing 250% more frontal impact strength and 68% greater side impact resistance compared to open back columns, reducing the risk of bending or twisting. The three rivet connection offers greater strength than the typical two rivet found on other pallet rack uprights. Additionally, the 10 gauge welded base plates facilitate floor anchoring. The pallet rack beams are constructed from high-strength steel (minimum 55,000 P.S.I.) and are made from continuously welded structural tubing for durability, ensuring moisture and debris do not accumulate. The 1-5/8"H step beams are compatible with optional decking (not included), and beam ends incorporate a secure 3 rivet lock design with a safety lock for installation on the uprights. All products are engineered and manufactured to high quality standards using only US steel, which enhances overall strength and rigidity.
