The Scotsman® C1030MA-32 Prodigy Cuber is designed to use significantly less energy and water than other cube ice machines, exceeding federal energy efficiency regulations, with an energy usage of 5 kWh per 100 lbs and water usage of 18.4 gallons per 100 lbs. This unit produces up to 1077 lbs of medium-sized ice cubes per day and may be used with a compatible ice bin, which is sold separately, including models B530P, B530S, BH1100BB-A, and BH1100SS-A. The machine features indicator lights that communicate operating status and alert staff when maintenance tasks such as descaling and sanitizing are needed, while the patented WaterSense adaptive purge control reduces scale buildup, extending the time between cleanings. Preventative maintenance is facilitated by easily removable panels for clear access to internal components and a diagnostic code display that aids in troubleshooting. The reusable air filter can be accessed from the outside of the unit, and all external panel components are crafted for optimal aesthetic appeal with superior fit and finish. Note that the unit must be hardwired as it does not plug into a standard wall outlet.
