The Scotsman® C0522SA-1 Prodigy cuber utilizes significantly less energy and water than traditional cube ice machines, surpassing federal energy efficiency regulations. This unit features easily removed panels for straightforward access to internal components, alongside a diagnostic code display for effective troubleshooting. The electrical specifications include a maximum fuse size of 15 amps, a circuit wire size of 2, and a minimum circuit ampacity of 13.8. With an energy usage of 6.7 kWh and water usage of 18 gallons per 100 lbs, the C0522SA-1 produces up to 475 lbs of small-sized ice cubes per day and may be paired with an ice bin (sold separately). Indicator lights provide constant updates on operating status and notify staff when maintenance tasks, such as descaling and sanitizing, are needed, simplifying upkeep. The patented WaterSense adaptive purge control minimizes scale buildup, resulting in extended intervals between cleanings. Additionally, the reusable air filter is easily removable from the outside, while all external panel components are designed for optimal aesthetic appeal with superior fit and finish. Please note that the unit requires hardwiring and does not plug into a standard wall outlet. It is compatible with the B322S ice bin.
