The Forney 242 Dual MIG welder features a Euro connection for faster torch maintenance and a digital meter for easy setup, supporting dual MIG operations. It is ideal for applications in light industrial settings, manufacturing, metal fabrication, maintenance and repair, motorsports, auto body, farm and ranch, and educational institutions. The welder includes a larger cabinet for easy access to 4" (1-2 lbs.) and 8" (10-11 lbs.) spools, an upgraded cast aluminum wire drive system, and a geared idler and drive roll with a better de-spooler. Specifications are as follows: Dimensions are 31" x 35-3/4" x 16-1/2", weight is 190 lbs., wire diameter range is up to .045", duty cycle is 60% at 155 amps, input power is 230 volts, and amperage range is 240 amps. It can accommodate plate thicknesses ranging from 24-gauge to 3/8".
