The kit includes rubber voltage gloves that are electrically tested and stamped with the initial test date, ensuring safety compliance. These gloves must be put into use within 12 months of the test date and, once issued, must be tested again within 6 months from the date they are distributed to employees. To enhance the gloves' lifespan, it is recommended to wear them with 10" leather glove protectors, although these protectors do not require a date marking. The gloves are classified as Class 0, which allows for a maximum use voltage of 1,000V AC and 1,500V DC, and are suitable for arc flash applications. The product complies with NFPA 70E, CSA Z462, and ANSI/ASTM D120, Class 0, Type 1 standards.
