The Navigator® series balances are rugged, multi-purpose instruments designed for a wide range of general weighing applications in laboratory, industrial, and educational settings. This powerful balance features fast stabilization time, overload protection at four times its rated capacity, and easy operation. The applications include weighing, parts counting, percent weighing, and checkweighing. The display is a liquid crystal display (LCD) with a backlight, and it operates using an included AC adapter or 4 C batteries (not included). Communication options include RS-232, USB, or Ethernet, available as accessories. The balance construction features ABS housing, a stainless steel pan, transportation lock, slip-resistant and adjustable feet, and a leveling bubble. Design features also include a menu and calibration lock switch, mechanical and software overload/underload protection, stability and low battery indicators, auto shut-off, and user-selectable print and communication options.
