The OHAUS® Defender® 5000 Series multifunctional bench scale is designed for various applications, including production, packaging, inventory, and shipping. This scale features maximum configurability for print output, GMP/GLP data output, library/user management, and multiple connectivity options, making it suitable for demanding industrial and commercial environments. It is Measurement Canada approved and NTEP certified. The scale supports applications such as weighing, parts counting, percent weighing, and dynamic weighing with a display hold. It includes a backlit liquid crystal display (LCD) with a resolution of 256 x 80 pixels. The operation utilizes an internal power supply with a power cord (included) or an optional rechargeable battery. Communication capabilities consist of easily accessible ports, including RS232 and a micro SD slot, as well as options for a second RS232/RS485/USD device, Ethernet, and WiFi/Bluetooth, with additional discrete I/O and analog output available as accessories. The scale is constructed with a 304-grade stainless steel platform and frame, an IP68-rated stainless steel indicator, and an IP67-rated load cell, featuring non-slip adjustable rubber feet.
