The CNC vertical milling machine package JTM-1254VS features certified Meehanite® castings, a precision bored and honed milling head, high precision class 7 spindle bearings, a quick spindle feed nut, and the Acu-Rite MillPwr G2 CNC package, which includes a USB + Ethernet compatible controller. This system boasts a simplified navigation interface that eliminates multiple menu screens, a 12.1" high-resolution display (1024 x 768) with 3D graphics, and a 1 GHz Celeron® M processor. It features an expanded tool library and datum offsets, program preview functionality for graphical representation prior to operation, a program size limit increased by 90% to 9,999 steps, and jog control for efficient table movement. The MillPwr G2 controller allows for 3-D contouring, supports G-code file imports from CAD/CAM programs, and offers advanced manipulation capabilities such as mirror, repeat, rotate, explode, and merge part programs. Menu-prompted conversational programming simplifies the creation and editing of part programs, while the built-in calculator enables standard, trig, and geometry calculations that can be transferred directly into programs.
