The new White Diamond Series refrigerator and freezer combination models from CorePoint Scientific® are designed specifically for scientific and medical applications, featuring a 9 cu. ft. capacity (4.6 cu. ft. refrigerator and 4.2 cu. ft. freezer). This unit includes two exterior swing doors (glass door for the refrigerator and solid door for the freezer), which are left hinged. It incorporates a microprocessor temperature controller for both the refrigerator and freezer, along with a digital temperature display that includes a sample simulated probe. The system is equipped with audible and visual high and low temperature alarms, remote alarm contacts, and an adjustable operating temperature range of 1°C to 10°C for the refrigerator and -15°C to -25°C for the freezer. The refrigerator has 2 adjustable shelves and 1 fixed shelf with a guard rail on the back to prevent products from being pushed against the wall, while the freezer has 2 fixed shelves. Additional features include keyed door locks, a magnetic door gasket for a positive seal, a recessed door handle for the freezer, a heavy-duty door handle for the refrigerator, leveling legs, a stacking kit, an LED interior light in the refrigerator, and two probe access ports (3/8")—one for the refrigerator and one for the freezer. The unit has a white powder-coated exterior, high-density urethane foam insulation, and HFC-free refrigerant (R600A). It operates with manual defrost for the freezer and cycle defrost for the refrigerator, is UL/C-UL listed, and includes a three-year parts and labor warranty, along with an additional two-year compressor parts warranty.
