The Wirecrafters® RapidGuard™ II lift-off machine guarding system is designed for guarding welding machines, stretch wrappers, conveyors, and other automated equipment while ensuring easy accessibility. The unique lift-off design allows for panel removal by loosening the tool-removable hardware, significantly reducing the time needed for both removal and installation of panels. Hardware remains attached to the posts to minimize the risk of loss or misinstallation during normal operations. Unlike conventional guarding systems, RapidGuard™ II panels lift off from the upright posts, providing full access to the equipment being guarded, which facilitates maintenance and service calls while maintaining safety during machine operation. The system is OSHA, ANSI, RIA, and ISO compliant and features 1-1/2" square (center to center) 10ga welded wire mesh with minimal 7.87' spacing from the hazard, optimizing the process footprint and conserving valuable floor space. The black powder-coated lift-off panels enhance visibility of operations within the guarding, while the yellow powder-coated posts ensure high visibility of the system for both material handling and pedestrian traffic outside of the guarding. The RapidGuard™ II system comes with a limited warranty of 1 year.
