Air-Care electrostatic filters are EPA registered and offer a 16"x25"x4" wide frame electrostatic air filter with a MERV 8 rating. These wide frame filters maintain all the beneficial features of standard filters while providing enhanced depth and versatility for various filter needs. The electrostatic air filters operate by utilizing static electricity, generated as air flows through a complex arrangement of static-prone fibers, effectively attracting and holding airborne particles until they are released during washing. The silver frame filters are constructed from a single piece of roll-formed galvanized steel, secured at one corner with a single rivet, while the filter material is securely held in place by the fibers catching on expanded metal support and airflow. Unlike many commercial air systems that rely on banks of 20 or 40+ 2" thick pleated filters, Air-Care’s high arrestance, low resistance permanent filters provide a cost-effective alternative to disposable filters for commercial applications. The filters offer numerous benefits, including the fact that they never need replacing, provide cleaner air to breathe, emit no harmful ozone, reduce pollen, dust, and airborne pollutants, and feature anti-microbial filter media.
