Air-Care electrostatic filters are EPA registered and feature the Air-Care 10"x20"x1" electrostatic air filter with a MERV 8 rating. Designed to clean the air through static electricity, these filters generate an electrostatic charge as air flows through a labyrinth of static-prone fibers, attracting and holding airborne particles until they are released by washing. Constructed with a silver frame made from a single piece of roll-formed galvanized steel, the filter material is secured within the frame by fibers snagging on expanded metal support and airflow. Unlike traditional disposable filters commonly used in commercial air systems, which often rely on banks of 20 or 40+ 2" thick pleated filters, Air-Care’s high arrestance, low resistance permanent filters offer a cost-effective alternative.
