The synthetic rigid cell is an extended surface, medium to high efficiency filter designed for commercial and industrial HVAC systems, including hospitals. The high lofted ultrafine synthetic media provides excellent dust holding capacity, and its rigid construction virtually eliminates dust particle unloading downstream of the filter. It is available as a replacement for pocket filters when conditions require a rigid filter or in high humidity environments. The filter is offered in MERV 10, 11, 13, and 15 ratings within a box-style and single header design, with options for 6" or 12" depth galvanized steel frames. This robust filter can be used as either a pre-filter or a final filter depending on the application and is capable of withstanding unfavorable conditions, including variable air volume (VAV) systems.
