The synthetic rigid cell is an extended surface, medium to high efficiency filter designed for use in most commercial and industrial HVAC systems. This filter features high lofted ultrafine synthetic media, which offers excellent dust holding capacity while its rigid construction virtually eliminates dust particle unloading downstream. It serves as a suitable replacement for pocket filters, particularly in high humidity, commercial, industrial buildings, and hospitals. The filter is available in MERV ratings of 10, 11, 13, and 15, with options for box-style and single header configurations, and depths of 6 inches or 12 inches. It comes with a galvanized steel frame and can function as either a pre-filter or a final filter depending on the specific application. Additionally, this robust filter is engineered to withstand unfavorable conditions, especially in variable air volume (VAV) environments.
