The synthetic rigid cell is an extended surface, medium to high efficiency filter designed for commercial and industrial HVAC systems, including hospitals. It features high lofted ultrafine synthetic media that provides excellent dust holding capacity and, combined with its rigid galvanized steel frame construction, virtually eliminates dust particle unloading downstream of the filter. The filter is available in MERV 10, 11, 13, and 15 ratings, offered in box-style and single header configurations, with depths of 6" or 12". It can be used as either a pre-filter or final filter depending on the application, and its robust design allows it to withstand unfavorable conditions, especially in variable air volume (VAV) systems.
