Air-Care electrostatic filters are EPA registered and feature a MERV 8 rating. The Air-Care 20"x24"x1" electrostatic air filter utilizes static electricity to effectively clean the air. As air flows through a labyrinth of static-prone fibers, an electrostatic charge is created, which attracts and holds airborne particles until they can be released through washing. The filters are constructed with a silver frame made from a single piece of roll-formed galvanized steel, fastened at one corner with a single rivet, while the filter material is securely held in place by the fibers interacting with the expanded metal support and air flow. Unlike conventional systems that use banks of 20 or 40+ 2" thick pleated filters, these high arrestance, low resistance permanent filters offer a cost-effective alternative for commercial accounts.
