Air-Care electrostatic filters are EPA registered, featuring a size of 16"x30"x1" and a MERV rating of 8. These filters utilize static electricity to clean the air, generating an electrostatic charge as air passes through a maze of static-prone fibers, which attracts and holds airborne particles until they can be washed away. The silver frame is constructed from a single piece of roll-formed galvanized steel, securely fastened at one corner with a rivet, while the filter material is tucked into the frame and held in place by fibers catching on the expanded metal support.
