Air-Care electrostatic filters are EPA registered and designed to provide efficient air purification. The Air-Care 16" x 25" x 1" electrostatic air filter features a MERV 8 rating and utilizes static electricity to clean the air. An electrostatic charge is generated as air flows through a maze of static-prone fibers, attracting and holding airborne particles until they can be washed away. The filters are constructed with a silver frame made from a single piece of roll-formed galvanized steel, fastened together at one corner with a single rivet. The filter material is securely tucked into the frame, held by fibers that catch on the expanded metal support and the airflow. These high arrestance, low resistance permanent filters serve as an economical alternative to disposable filters commonly used in commercial air systems, which often utilize banks of 20 or 40+ 2" thick pleated filters. Key features include being maintenance-free, providing cleaner air to breathe, emitting no harmful ozone, effectively reducing pollen, dust, and airborne pollutants, and featuring anti-microbial filter media.
