Air-Care electrostatic filters are EPA registered and designed with a width frame measuring 16"x27"x6". These MERV 8 filters utilize static electricity, a safe and naturally occurring phenomenon, to clean the air by generating an electrostatic charge as air flows through a maze of static-prone fibers. This charge attracts and holds airborne particles until they are released through washing. The silver frame is constructed from a single piece of roll-formed galvanized steel, fastened at one corner with a single rivet. The filter material is secured within the frame, supported by expanded metal and airflow. Unlike traditional disposable filters, which often comprise banks of 20 or 40+ 2" thick pleated designs, Air-Care's high arrestance, low resistance permanent filters provide a cost-effective solution for commercial air systems.
