Air-Care electrostatic filters are EPA registered and designed to provide efficient air cleaning with a MERV rating of 8. The Air-Care 12"x30"x1" electrostatic air filter utilizes static electricity to attract and hold airborne particles, which are released when the filter is washed. Constructed with a silver frame made from a single piece of roll-formed galvanized steel, the filters are fastened at one corner with a single rivet, ensuring durability. The filter material is secured within the frame by fibers that catch on expanded metal support and air flow. These permanent filters offer a high arrestance, low resistance alternative to the more commonly used disposable filters in commercial air systems, which often rely on banks of 20 or 40+ 2" thick pleated filters. Key features include anti-microbial filter media, high dust and particle holding capacity, and a limited lifetime warranty.
