Air-Care electrostatic filters are EPA registered and designed for high performance with the Air-Care 20"x20"x4" wide frame electrostatic air filter rated at MERV 8. These wide frame filters incorporate the same benefits as standard filters but offer greater depth and versatility for diverse filtration applications. Utilizing static electricity, the electrostatic charge generated by airflow through a configuration of static-prone fibers effectively attracts and holds airborne particles until they are released during washing. The silver frame filters are constructed from a single piece of roll-formed galvanized steel, securely fastened at one corner with a single rivet. The filter media is integrated into the frame, relying on the fibers to engage with the expanded metal support and air flow to maintain its position. Unlike traditional systems that utilize multiple 2" thick pleated filters, Air-Care's high arrestance, low resistance permanent filters represent an economical alternative for commercial use, eliminating the need for replacements.
